Like many couples in the summer of 2020, Andee and Drew made alternate plans to their wedding day due to COVID-19. What was going to be a big celebration turned into a party of four—Andee, Drew, their pup and I. We woke up early to do a sunrise hike at Coyote Wall in Columbia River Gorge.
Choosing to have an adventure engagement session or an elopement doesn’t mean you have to be an avid or experienced hiker or lover of long strenuous hikes! There are a lot of stunning locations all around the PNW that are actually quite iconic and require little to light amounts of hiking. Win win!
That being said, there are also other epic locations that do require some hard work, and if you want to know about those, get in touch! I do a lot of hikes, but haven’t done many sessions in these locations
Christine and Charles chose to elope at the Women’s Forum in The Gorge. They could not have picked a more naturally stunning location. Any one who has hiked The Gorge knows that the views of the Columbia are a real treat. We could even see the iconic Vista House from the lookout near the ceremony site!
The guest list was small but meaningful, and everyone was so excited and happy to be celebrating these two. Let’s not forget to mention the ADORABLE flower girl and ring bearer outfits and Christine’s sassy yet stylish bedazzled cowboy boots. Underneath a big beautiful tree with their closest friends and family members watching, these two said I do and took the first steps of their new journey together down the aisle.
